The suite dates from 1930. Ibert 'Escales' "Ports of Call" (A KAL') Composed in 1922, following a trip to Rome and Mediterranean ports. It is a musical travelog inspired by his Mediterranean cruise to three very different ports. Indy d' 'Symphony on a French Mountain Air', Op 25 Ives, Charles 'Central Park in the Dark Ives Sym No 2 Ives Sym No 3 Ives Sym No 4 Ives Sym 'Holidays' Ives 'Three Places In New England' Ives 'The Unanswered Question Composed in 1906 but not Published until 1953 a year before Ives death this piece ponders the perennial question of existence with agitation of various orchestral sections until, unanswered, the orchestra stops.
